  19. Having read the FAQ answer to this question I would like to addone
  20. thing, which is not to forget configuring the other end to accept the
  21. DEL character which kermit normally sends.

  23. On a UNIX system, I set the erase character to DEL if the terminal
  24. type is a vt-series terminal (kermit included) and backspace otherwise
  25. because this is what these terminals normally send.
